Morae Presentation Features

Video clips

Create video clips from specific sections of the recording. Add notes to them with text or audio narration.

Customizable camera PIP

Include camera video PIP over the screen video, and adjust its position, size, and opacity on a clip-by-clip basis or for the entire video.

Title clips

Title clips can introduce a video or act as static transitions between video clips and graphs on the storyboard. Customize the color, text and duration of the title clips. Add audio or a background image to the clip.

Transitions

Enable fade in/fade out transitions at the beginning and end of the storyboard, and between clips.

Multiple storyboards

Create and produce more than one storyboard within a project.

Shareable video files

Produce your highlight video in either an industry-standard AVI or Windows Media Video (WMV) format for easy sharing. The Pack and Show option ensures that your AVI highlight video will play on any system.

Easily exportable data

Morae lets you export data and present results in a variety of ways:

  • Graphs – Export graphs as bitmap images to use in other applications.
  • Graph data – Export the data table used to create a graph and open the file in another application, like Microsoft Excel.
  • Search Editor results – Export all or selected results from any search directly from the List View into a file to open and manipulate in other applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Survey results – Export the results from a survey to open in other applications, such as Microsoft Excel.
  • Screenshots – Capture and export different types of screenshots from any Morae recording: a frame of screen video, a frame of camera video, or screen video with camera video PIP included (if recorded).
  • Video clips – Create a video clip and produce it as an individual AVI or WMV file (for use in a PowerPoint presentation, for example).

Morae Presentation Benefits

Easily Assemble Key Moments into a Video

You don’t need to be a multimedia expert to create videos with Morae. All of the editing tools you’ll need are built in. Easily add video clips, tasks, and graphs to your highlight video just by dragging them to the storyboard. Even import video clips from outside sources and add them to your highlight video.

Produce Multiple Videos in Less Time

You may find that you need to create one highlight video for the project team and another for management or the client. Manager makes it easy to assemble and save multiple highlight video storyboards in each project. Storyboards can be produced individually, or in batches to save time.

Let the Users Do the Talking

Add the power of the user’s facial and verbal expressions to your highlight videos with ease. In the Present tab, the webcam video is superimposed automatically over the screen video, as a Picture-in-Picture (PIP) image, so your team and stakeholders can see and hear exactly what the user did and said.

Add a Professional Touch with Title Clips and Transitions

Create customized title clips, complete with background images and narration, to introduce sections of your video. Move smoothly from one section to the next by placing fade and dissolve transitions between clips and at the beginning and end of the video.

Easily Share Videos with Any Audience

Morae videos are easy to share with anyone, anywhere. Once a storyboard is complete, you can produce it into either Windows Media (WMV) format or standard AVI format. WMV format will play in Windows Media Player, the most ubiquitous media player on the market. It is also useful if you wish to stream the highlight video.
