Settings to change in Windows XPIf you’re having issues recording a video player on a Windows XP machine, you’ll need to turn off hardware acceleration on your computer, at least while you’re recording. To do so:
Note: You may need to play with this setting depending on your computer. If you move the slider somewhere in the middle and you still can’t record video in your video player, come back to this setting and move the slider left some more. On the other hand, if you are experiencing poor playback in your video player, you may need to move the slider to the right some more.
