TechSmith Provides Quicken 2006 Users with a Special Offer on SnagIt Image Capturing

SnagIt Enables Users to Easily Take Advantage of Quicken's New Electronic Image and Statement Attachment Feature that Eliminates the Burden of Storing Paper Records

Okemos, Michigan - August 17, 2005 - TechSmith Corp. today announced a special offer to make SnagIt available for Intuit Inc.'s (Nasdaq: INTU) Quicken® Personal Finance Software 2006 customers who want to use the new electronic image and statement attachment features. With SnagIt, Quicken 2006 users can take screenshots of digital images such as electronic checks, receipts, invoices, warranty information, or bank statements, and store them in Quicken attached to the corresponding transactions and accounts.

Quicken 2006 users can use SnagIt, the world's most popular and user-friendly screen capture utility, to take a screenshot of a cancelled electronic check for tax purposes, a receipt for proof of purchase, or an invoice or bill to dispute a charge and save it with their Quicken data. SnagIt also provides tools for adding personal comments, date and time stamps, and other useful information to these digital records. Users can store up to three images per transaction in Quicken.

"Being able to store electronic images in Quicken eliminates the need for a separate paper filing system for your financial records," said Peter Karpas, vice president & general manager, Quicken Solutions Group. "By teaming up with TechSmith to make a special offer of SnagIt available for Quicken customers, it's now that much easier for Quicken users to use this feature to gain control over their complete financial picture."

"Quicken 2006 users can benefit immediately from SnagIt's easy to use screen capture and editing features," said Tony Dunckel, SnagIt Product Manager at TechSmith. "Our support for Quicken 2006 makes capturing and saving any electronic image a breeze. Quicken users will also quickly realize how useful SnagIt can be for countless other everyday computing tasks."

TechSmith has also created special Quicken capture profiles and stamps so users know exactly which capture setting to choose for each type of image they want to capture and store. Additionally, SnagIt also captures images directly from scanners and digital cameras so users can store converted and transferred paper receipts, documents, and digital photos.

System Requirements and Availability
SnagIt 7.2 supports Microsoft Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows NT, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. A "SnagIt Special Offer" insert with a promotional code is included in boxed copies of Quicken 2006 Deluxe, Premier, and Premier Home & Business so users can conveniently purchase SnagIt online.
