TechSmith to Expand French, Swiss and Belgium Distribution

Makers of World's Most Popular Screen Capture & Recording Software For Business and Education Users Enter Into Distribution Pact with Avanquest France

Okemos, Michigan - February 14, 2005 - TechSmith Corp., the world's leading provider of screen capture and recording solutions, today announced an agreement with a leading French software distributor. Paris-based Avanquest will begin selling the French and English versions of SnagIt and the English version of Camtasia Studio.

Beginning in February 2005, resellers in France, Belgium and Switzerland will be able to purchase directly from Avanquest who will provide co-marketing and basic technical support for their resellers.

SnagIt supports Microsoft Windows NT, Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Camtasia Studio 2.1 supports Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP with DirectX 9.0 or later.
