TechSmith Accessibility Statement

TechSmith Corporation is committed to providing our clients with quality screen capture and screen recording software that may be tailored to individual needs and accessed with ease by all of our customers. This accessibility statement is designed to provide pertinent information concerning TechSmith's efforts to make its software compliant with Section 508 to those interested in making accessible technology choices.

To fulfill our goal and ensure the value of each customer's investment,TechSmith has reviewed its software products' degree of technical compliance to the ADA Rehabilitation Act, as outlined in the sections, subsections and paragraphs of Part 1194 of the Section 508 standards. Specifically, SnagIt 7.1, Camtasia Studio 2.0, and Morae 1.0 have been tested.

TechSmith will continue to test its software for compliance with Section 508 with some of the leading accessibility aids such as JAWS and Microsoft Active Accessibility.

Section 508 and TechSmith Products

As part of TechSmith's commitment to create products that are accessible for people with disabilities, we are pleased to provide VPAT (Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates) for our products below.

According to ITIC.ORG, "The purpose of the Voluntary Product Accessibility Template is to assist Federal contracting officials in making preliminary assessments regarding the availability of commercial Electronic and Information Technology products and services with features that support accessibility. It is assumed that offerer will provide additional contact information to facilitate more detailed inquiries."

The Templates are works in progress and will continue to be updated based on new releases to the products and feedback from government and industry users.
